Customizable AR Mirror: Educational Interaction

We at Dark Kak, on our venture to AR/VR tools for education, conceptualized the AR Mirror for learning. This innovative tool transforms any display, especially kiosks, into interactive platforms for educational AR content. With the AR Mirror, children can engage with educational material in a fun and gamified manner, using their hands, bodies, or faces to interact with the content. Imagine learning about the anatomy of the human body while standing in front of a digital mirror that shows the details of your bones and blood vessels with educational tags or learning about astronomy and the universe through an AR game on the mirror while enjoying them with your friends. This not only makes learning enjoyable but also fosters collective engagement, as other students and teachers can join in and learn together, promoting inclusivity and accessibility .

Our AR Mirror made its debut at a Kid's Fair, where we showcased two interactive games focusing on the importance of nutrients and healthy eating, cleverly aligning with our client's products and mascot for marketing. The response was overwhelming, with over 3,100 engagements from visitors.

Today, the AR Mirror from Dark Kak serves as a bridge between technology and accessibility, bringing immersive learning experiences to students who lack resources. As we continue to develop and expand our content, our mission remains steadfast: to make education engaging, inclusive, and accessible through the power of augmented reality.

Kind New World AR Challenge: Inspiring Good Deeds Through Augmented Reality

Our “Kind New World” AR Challenge took root in a Dhaka slum, igniting a spark of kindness among local children. In collaboration with the Platform of Community Action and Architecture (POCAA), we introduced an innovative AR filter designed to inspire young learners to perform good deeds within their community.

Participants were presented with fun and meaningful tasks, including “Help a Stranger Today,” “Plant a Tree,” “Volunteer Work,” and “Make New Friends.” What began as a simple, enjoyable activity quickly evolved into a powerful tool for social change, demonstrating the potential of augmented reality to encourage positive actions and foster a sense of community spirit.

During the PawMang Exhibition, we recorded 568 opens, 14 captures, and 8 purchases, raising nearly 2 lakh BDT. These achievements highlight the community’s support and engagement in our initiatives.

Through this challenge, children not only engaged with the technology but also learned the importance of kindness, cooperation, and responsibility. The Kind New World AR Challenge exemplifies how creativity and technology can inspire meaningful interactions, empowering the next generation to make a difference in their surroundings.

Enhancing Learning Through Technology in South Korea

In our ongoing mission to transform education, we developed an innovative application for school students in South Korea, designed to enhance their understanding of chemistry through interactive learning experiences.

This cutting-edge app allows students to explore chemical reactions in a safe and engaging environment. With interactive features, users can experiment with various substances, observe reactions in real time, and gain insights into the underlying principles of chemistry without the risks associated with traditional lab work.

By incorporating augmented reality and interactive simulations, the app fosters curiosity and a deeper understanding of scientific concepts. Students can visualize complex reactions, conduct virtual experiments, and collaborate with peers, making learning not only informative but also enjoyable.

Our application aims to empower the next generation of scientists, inspiring them to explore the fascinating world of chemistry. Through technology, we are bridging the gap between theory and practice, creating a more engaging and effective educational experience.
